Digital Editing and Printing

Franklin´s likes nothing more then a challenge.  If you have any idea for any type of art that can be digitalized (scanned or photographed) bring it in and we'll discuss your ideas.

The original photograph was taken of a friend's daughter at a wedding.  The distance was too great for the camera flash to be effective and the background was very distracting.  Using Photoshop, the photo was lightened, the color adjusted, and the distracting background was eliminated.

This photo was taken at an art show.  In addition to the obvious cropping, the distracting background (left corner) was blackened and the color adjusted.  There was one more thing that needed to be done here and that was to remove the reflection in the glass of the photograph.

This photograph has great potential. The color was somewhat washed out and there was much too much field.  After about an hour's worth of editing, two lines of the pasture were removed, the flowers in the foreground as well as the fence were brightened, and the color adjusted adding more contrast.  This is a great example of custom editing done by Franklin´s.

This is an example of digital image manipulation. Images can be added or subtracted from any photograph.  In this case multiple images were taken at different times and combined for a specific purpose.  The farm field is in "full" print while the housing images are only at fifty percent visibility to give them a ghost-like opacity.
